The primary element of supplier development service is the certification of management systems in conformance with international and Russian, as well as industry and corporate, standards (for example, Gazprom 9000), and also qualification in international and national long-lists of accepted/registered suppliers for the O&G sector (for example, the Achilles and Gazprom List of Accepted Suppliers), both onshore and offshore.
Today O&G companies are more and more demanding of their suppliers. These demands are primarily related to materials, equipment and services procured. At their end, suppliers subject to these types of demands understand the necessity for quality-driven production and the rendering of high-quality services, along with cost reduction that can be achieved through the elimination of non-conformances.
One of the tools for meeting the expectations of O&G companies is a quality-management system based on the general requirements of ISO 9000 standards and Gazprom 9000 to be applicable to the O&G industry.
